Hawai’ian red clay and Frost Porcelain as the main body steep pitcher thrown on the wheel and then burnished for a smooth finished body. The lid cover to keep your tea warm in-between steeps and the steeper screen inside are made with reclaimed bmix and local Califonia mined clay, Elsinore Buff.
Food-safe clear glaze inside steeping pitcher, spout, and lid; rest left unglazed to feel the natural texture of different clay bodies working together. You can use with teas that are brewed up to 190 degrees, and use the lid for pouring with the pitcher or to keep on in-between steeps to retain heat. Pairs nicely with a tea cup!
